The human body is an incredible piece of self reliant machine designed by the Almighty. If you just look at our immune system you will find what an amazing collection of mechanisms it is. Certain substances like 'bioflavonoids' enhance the absorption of vitamin C thus improving its effectiveness. Citrus Bioflavonoids (found in the white part of the peel of any citrus fruit) should be consumed for its strong antioxidant, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergy properties.
